IS THIS YOUR NATURAL STATE?
EMBODY, ALLOW, INQUIRE
"Regardless of the self-image we project, most people are suffering. This suffering is a bi-product of identifying with the Ego, the Separate Self."
Joe identified three proven practices that transmute this suffering: embodiment, allowing, and inquiry. These practices, identified over a 20 year search to end his own suffering, are based on Eastern Wisdom, proven in Western sceinece, and substantiated in ancient and modern times. He has dedicated his life to help others master this 'art of happiness'—free from external circumstances—via the simplest possible practice.
He shares The Bliss Practice with those interested, both online and in person, through group sessions and one-on-one interactions. Joe is committed to guiding anyone on this journey who shows the required commitment and desire to know their true nature and find permanant freedom in this life.
"I can share the methods and practices, but the aspirant must cultivate the commitment within themselves, as that is the only part of awakening that cannot be taught."
WHAT YOU WILL DO?
THE BLISS PRACTICE
The foundation of our teachings is Bliss Practice. It comprises three simple tools: the complete embodiment of your current felt experience, the conscious allowing of all thoughts, emotions, and sensations that emerge within that experience, and a deep inquiry into their true nature. Anyone can practice these three simple steps, doing them little and often until their true nature becomes obvious. We have tested this practice over a 20-year "Life PhD" in teachers, teachings, texts, training, therapy, trauma, and time. With over 50,000 hours dedicated to this topic we have a conviction, often missing on the spiritual path, upon which others can rely. But do not believe what is said, you must test it in your own experience.
EMBODIMENT
Embodiment is about being fully present and grounded in your body, embracing and deeply connecting with your current felt experience. It means inhabiting your body completely, acknowledging and feeling every sensation without resistance or judgment.
ALLOWING
Allowing is the process of welcoming all thoughts, emotions, and sensations that arise within your experience without trying to change, judge, or escape from them. It entails a non-resistant witness stance where everything is permitted to be exactly as it is.
INQUIRY
Inquiry involves a deep investigation into the nature of your experiences and the essence of who you are beyond the conceptual self. We examine thoughts, emotions, and sensations, leading to insights into the nature of existence and the realization of one's true self.
THE BLISS PRACTICE
Suffering arises from disconnecting from our bodily sensations, resisting what arises, and accepting surface-level perceptions as truth, these are normal functions of the Ego. The Bliss Practice shifts ego-identification in to beingness, promoting profound healing and revitalizing both physical and mental well-being. It cultivates a stable, unconditional joy, independent of external conditions, accessible at any moment, and if you can read this, you can enjoy this way of living too.
Transforming ourselves becomes a more enriched experience when we undertake it as a collective journey. The Bliss community is committed to fostering a supportive environment that respects each individual's unique path to healing and awakening. We believe that approaching this journey together not only enhances its effectiveness and enjoyment but also imbues it with deeper significance.
Moreover, it facilitates the creation of lifelong friendships, offering a sense of belonging and connection that supports and uplifts everyone involved. Together, we navigate the balance between form and formlessness, embracing our humanity while anchoring in our unchanging essence, making the path towards liberation both joyful and profoundly meaningful.
AVOIDANCE IS TRAUMA
BECOMING LIMITED
The bliss, pure consciousness arises in the human being as a conceptual self. This separate self, to varying degrees, develops cravings and aversions to life objects in an attempt to avoid and limit the experience of perceived pain. Over time, this practice of avoiding and limiting pain results in avoiding and limiting life. This behavior is a natural and essential, innocent survival mechanism, evolved perfectly to protect the separate self based on its life path. However, it is only meant to be a stage that we pass through on the way to liberation. Unfortunately, most people get stuck there, caught in an ever-decreasing, self-limiting cycle, as our culture has lost sight of this sacred path.
ALLOWING IS HEALING
BECOME LIMITLESS
While the observed function of the separate self is protection, the true purpose of the suffering it creates through "avoiding" is to encourage liberation by leading us back to our true self. This true home, which lies at the center of our being, is fully available in each moment. By embodying our feelings, allowing everything in our field of experience to be exactly as it is, and inquiring into the nature of our experience, this bliss home is revealed as all there is. This revelation unleashes limitless empowerment, unconditional love, and an unending capacity for creative expression.
COMMUNITY IS KEY
SUKHA SANGA
This path is incredible, and we choose to navigate it together. The community offers a sense of belonging and connection, reducing the feeling of isolation that can come from undertaking a spiritual journey. It creates a safe space for expression, sharing, and growth, where the struggles and insights of the path can be openly discussed.
Being surrounded by people who share your interest in spiritual practice supports a deeper anchoring in beingness.
In essence, the supportive energy of a like-minded community amplifies each other's efforts towards healing and enlightenment, making the journey less daunting and more enriched with collective wisdom and encouragement.

"YOUR BLISS BLOOMS IN YOUR SHADOWS"
Our shadows exist because we repress certain aspects of ourselves, which is why they are called shadows. However, when we pay conscious attention to them and allow them to be exactly as they are, it illuminates these shadows. Darkness is the absent of light, shadows are the absense of presence. It’s as simple as that.
